Members of the Deming Amateur Radio Club have a new website home. This new home features many benefits to Club Members.
Each club member has been given an email account with the club call sign so you can send and receive mail. You can set up your Outlook Express to retrieve your mail or you may access your mail via a web browser from anywhere in the world.
A Bulletin Board System (BBS) has been set up also. This BBS is set up to allow the club to have an INSTANT news letter. Any important announcements will be posted under the topic of "Club Announcements". We can have hundreds of other topics as needed such as Want Ads or For Sale ads.
There is also a chat server installed. Let's say you are working on a radio and need programming instructions from someone you know. You can both log into the chatserver and have an open communications window between each other. Of course, you can use it just for chatting too!
